Musgrove Pushes Differences With Wicker

TUPELO - U.S. Senate candidate Ronnie Musgrove brought his campaign into the heart of his opponent's country Thursday, choosing his words carefully but speaking confidently about how he will be a different kind of senator, if elected.

"Government in Washington has forgotten what its business is," the former governor told members of the Tupelo Luncheon Civitan Club. "Washington is broken and needs to change."


The event was in stark contrast to his Neshoba County Fair speech last week when he was repeatedly interrupted by hecklers wearing T-shirts bearing the name of his opponent, Roger Wicker of Tupelo.
